We absolutely love these examples of stark and brutal Muscavite modernism taken from “Life in Moscow, 1931: Color photos.” which were brought to our attention by the fantabulous Ross Wolfe of The Charnel House form Bauhaus to Beinhaus, so named after Le Corbusier’s famous quote. “Our world, like a charnel-house, lies strewn with the detritus of dead epochs.” ⎯ Le Corbusier, Urbanisme (1925). Ross credits The Constructivist Project’s Facebook page for his original citing of these wonderful photographs.
